Punjab Secretariat girl selected for All Indian Civil Services Athletics meet.
Chandigarh , October 1 : Another milestone was laid in the history of Punjab Civil Secretariat when a girl Shallu Senior Assistant in Punjab Secretariat got selected for All Indian Civil Services Athletics meet held at New Delhi . She Participated in all india civil services athletics meet ,which held on 28th to 30th sept,2021 in ( karnal )Haryana Talking to media, President of Punjab Civil Secretariat Sports and Cricket Club Bhupinder Singh told that their Sports Club is functional since 2006 and our members are working hard for the coming sports events in All Indian Services. Treasurer of the club Naveen Sharma told that Secretariat Volleyball and badminton teams have already qualified for the tournaments held at New Delhi. Team coach and mentor Gurvir Singh told that they have prepared a strong cricket team to compete in upcoming All India Civil Services Cricket Tournament. Chief Patron of club Gurinder Singh Sodhi told media that club is excelling day by day and will continue to do so under the guidance of Govt. of Punjab. Neeraj Prabhakar, Satish Chander and Gurpreet Singh were also present at this occasion.
