United Hindu Front strongly demands from all political parties in Punjab that the next Chief Minister should be a Hindu

New Delhi: United Hindu Front and Rashtrawadi Shiv Sena today staged a symbolic Dharna  to demand that a Hindu be the next Chief Minister of Punjab and compensation to the families of nearly 30,000 innocent Hindus who were ruthlessly killed during terrorism, on the lines of Sikh riot victims.
On this occasion, a memorandum addressed to the presidents of the active political parties in Punjab like  Congress, Akali Dal, BJP, BSP and Aam Adami party also submitted.
Addressing the people present, Shri Jai Bhagwan Goyal ,International Executive President of Front and National President of Rashtrawadi Shiv Sena said that Hindu population in Punjab is above 40 percent but Hindus have been exploited always  by all political parties. After 1966, no Hindu was made the Chief Minister, resulted  Hindus became as second-class citizens. It has become common practice to openly harass Hindus who raise their voice against the so called Khalistan elements. Far from getting protection to such Hindus, they are forced to bear a double whammy. The murder of many Hindu leaders is a clear proof of this. Shri Goyal  made it clear that Hindus in Punjab would support and vote for the same political party which would first declare Hindu as the Chief Minister.

Goyal further said that Hindus of Punjab were the victims of most cruelty during the dark period of terrorism. Innocent Hindus were selectively and mercilessly killed. Their  family members were pacified by giving only 20 to 50 thousand rupees. In contrast, lakhs and crores of rupees were given to the families of the Sikh victims of the 1984 riots.He questioned whether the blood of Sikh brothers is red and the blood of Hindus white ?  if the blood of Hindus is not white then why no voice has been raised in their support till date. In the history of 55 years, no political party in Punjab has elected any Hindu as the Chief Minister till date.
Shri Goyal said that the time has come to show solidarity against the continuous exploitation of Hindus in Punjab. The Hindu of Punjab is sitting with a mind that any political party should first announce a Hindu Chief Minister and will support and vote only for the political party that announces proper compensation for the families of 30,000 sacrificed Hindus. The Hindus of Punjab have geared up for him.
On this occasion, Shri Shri Mahant Guru Maa Kanchan Giri Ji, Ravindra Pandita-Sharda Peeth J&K, Surendra Mohan Gupta, Shri Lalit Goswami from Juna Akhara, Dharmendra Bedi, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Ramakant Sharma, Avadh Kumar, Shrikant Yadav, Subhash, Officer bearers like Sanjay Goyal, Rajesh Arora, Surendra Chaudhary, Pappu Basal, Ashok Chauhan, Suresh Chandra Gupta, Suman, Vinita, Malti, Nirmala, Poonam Prajapati etc. were present along with their hundreds of workers.
