Chandigarh, December 19: Renowned lyricist and journalist Shamsher Sandhu expressed his love for sports. He released his new Poetry book ‘Kithe Kho Gaye Chajj De Bande’ here today. Indian Hockey team Captain Harmanpreet Singh and player Gurjant Singh led the honors.Shamsher Sandhu has earned a reputation for writing songs, stories and prose. He has written nine books so far. Nonetheless, the present one is his first poetry book.

Sandhu’s New Book Celebrates Athletes in Chandigarh

Shamsher Sandhu has made his mark by writing about Kabaddi players and Wrestlers. The author released the new book at the Hockey Stadium in Chandigarh. The Captain of the Indian team Harmanpreet Singh and forward Gurjant Singh attended the event. They were accompanied by sports writer Navdeep Singh Gill. Both the players have won two consecutive bronze medals for India in the Olympic Games in Paris and Tokyo.
