On the occasion of Women Entrepreneurship Day, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government organised “Women Honour Programmes” across Punjab with great enthusiasm and pride. Organized under the theme “Empowered Women, Strong Women,” these events were held in various districts of the state, where hundreds of women entrepreneurs participated with zeal and shared their experiences in entrepreneurship, leadership, and social contribution.
At the event held in Moga, AAP Punjab Women Wing President and MLA Dr. Amandeep Kaur Arora participated as the chief guest. She honoured women entrepreneurs for their significant contribution to the economic growth of the state.
Arora also highlighted the Punjab government’s existing policies and future plans aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs. She said that today is dedicated to all those women who, despite limited resources, continue to play an important role in the progress of their families, society, and the state of Punjab. On this occasion, District President Mandeep Kaur, District Secretary Lovely Singla, and the entire Women Wing leaders were present.
The AAP leader said that the overwhelming participation of women in such programmes across various districts shows that they are ready to excel in every field. This event is not just a formal honour, it is a celebration of the achievements of every woman.
She further said that if women are given the right platform, they can lead major social transformations. Every woman present here has an inspiring story, whether it is in entrepreneurship, education, or community service. The Punjab government is committed to making women’s empowerment not merely a slogan but a practical reality. She thanked all the women entrepreneurs who contributed to making this government initiative a success.
