Senior Trade Unionist and Member All India Congress Committee(AICC) Sardar M.M.Singh Cheema strongly criticised the unwarranted public statement of Chief Minister Uttar Pradesh Yogi Aditya Nath on announcement by Chief Minister Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh on formation of a new district Malerkotla in Punjab which has great historical importance in Indian History of secularism and peaceful coexistence of all communities in all difficult situation particularly during partition of country 1947 and other rioting situation in the country.
Mr.Cheema stated it is so sorry state of affairs in UP that Chief Minister could not notice thousand of bodies floating in river Ganga which is a crime against Humanity as per true Indian traditions that nobody should be denied to perform last rights even in war situation or Pandemic , Electronic an social media advisors or operators of CM Yogi showed him some development in 1000 Kilometre away in some other state but could not show him deaths happening all over the estate where he has issued Gag Orders to lodge FIR against anybody complaining Publicly the issue of lack of medical facilities etc.
Mr.Cheema asked CM yogi to check his facts on Malerkotla and concentrate on extending basic life support facilities to thousands of People on roads lining up to seek basic health services where he is busy in wasting precious public time and resources on unwarranted Public statements which are sheer effort to divert the attention from core public demands.
