ਸੁਖਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਗ੍ਰੰਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਬੇਅਦਬੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦਾ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਮੀਤ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਮੈਂ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ ਪਰ ਨਾ ਤਾਂ ਸੁਖਬੀਰ ਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਉਸਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਆ ਕੇ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ ਪਰ ਅਫ਼ਸੋਸ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਗ੍ਰੰਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਬੇਅਦਬੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੋਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਹੁਣ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਹਾਕਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ? ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਬੇਅਦਬੀ ਤੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਰੋਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ। ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਬਜ਼ਾਏ ਕਿ ਟਾਲਮਟੋਲ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਮਾਂ ਬਰਬਾਦ ਕਰਨਾ।

During the rule of Sukhbir Singh Badal, religious texts were disrespected. I was the senior vice president of the party at that time. Right from that time till now I have been protesting but neither he nor his father Parkash Singh Badal listened to me. That is why I am coming out of the party and demanding justice. But sadly, Captain Sarkar is also fully supporting the accused who disrespected the religious texts. Now justice cannot be expected from such rulers? The people of Punjab are outraged by the disrespect of Guru Sahib. We just need justice rather than procrastination.
