New Delhi/Chandigarh, January 20 ; Mann in Delhi : Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann today electrified the atmosphere in Delhi. He led vibrant roadshows in support of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidates Akhilesh Pati Tripathi (Model Town), Ajesh Yadav (Badli), and Pradeep Mittal (Rohini). Mann addressed enthusiastic crowds. He highlighted AAP’s commitment to progressive governance and people-centric development. He contrasted it with the divisive and hollow promises of opposition parties.

Speaking in Model Town, Mann expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support shown to AAP candidate Akhilesh Pati Tripathi, saying, “Your love and enthusiasm make it clear that Akhilesh Tripathi is your MLA.” He underscored AAP’s track record in transforming schools and hospitals under Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, a stark contrast to the opposition’s rhetoric. “While Kejriwal talks about schools and hospitals, the BJP only offers empty promises like depositing ₹15 lakh in everyone’s accounts. On February 5, press the button with the broom symbol and entrust your future to Kejriwal, a leader who delivers on his commitments,” said Mann.

He also criticized the opposition for promoting conflict over constructive dialogue, stating, “They talk about fighting, but we focus on education and progress. We emerged from the common people and remain dedicated to their welfare.” At Badli also, CM Mann highlighted AAP’s commitment to education, healthcare, and infrastructure. Thanking the people for their trust, he said, “We in AAP don’t talk about fighting; we talk about education. While we discuss hospitals, electricity, water, roads, and infrastructure, the opposition focuses only on division and conflict.”

Sharing AAP’s achievements, Mann said, “In Delhi and Punjab, electricity bills for the majority of households are zero. This is because our intentions are honest. People used to wonder how free electricity is possible, but when the leadership’s motives are clear, everything becomes achievable.” He also took a jibe at Prime Minister Modi’s criticism of welfare policies. He remarked, “Modi calls Kejriwal’s welfare initiatives ‘freebies.’ But when he promised ₹15 lakh in everyone’s accounts, what happened to that? The BJP mocks our schemes but ends up copying them.” Encouraging voters to support AAP, Mann praised Ajesh Yadav, saying, “Yadav ji was your MLA, is your MLA, and will remain your MLA. If Badli delivers the highest margin of votes for AAP, I will inform my party’s supremo. I will say that Badli kept its promise on February 8.” Addressing the people of Rohini, Mann said that the people of Delhi are with the AAP and Arvind Kejriwal. Mann said that we are fighting for your children and their education. AAP candidate Mittal thanked CM Mann for campaigning for him and urged the people to support him. Throughout the day, Mann reiterated AAP’s core philosophy of focusing on education (padhai) rather than conflict (ladai). “Time and again, the opposition proves they have no vision beyond fights and division. We, on the other hand, believe in bringing people together to build schools, improve healthcare, and ensure development for all,” he said. Addressing media queries about the recent ban on AAP’s documentary, Mann stated, “Banning a documentary cannot weaken our resolve. The truth always prevails and cannot be suppressed. AAP will continue its politics of hard work and dedication to the people.” Mann also shared a link of the documentary on his X account.
