Bargari sacrilege and Behbal Kalan firing case: With ‘chacha’ Captain’s backing, Sukhbir Badal and company celebrating: Bhagwant Mann
..Akali Dal Badal does not care for Guru and Sangat, but only for its leaders
….People’s court will not forgive Captain and the Congress for the double sacrilege
Chandigarh, April 26, 2021
Accusing the Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh for colluding with the alleged accused persons/officials involved in the sacrilege of Sri Guru Granth Sahib and Behbal Kalan and Kotkapura firing cases, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab president and Member of Parliament Bhagwant Singh Mann said that Sukhbir Singh Badal and his company was celebrating on ‘chacha’ (uncle) Captain’s (Amarinder Singh) head and with his backing; however neither the Guru nor the Sangat had received justice and neither had any culprit received the punishment.
In a statement issued from the party headquarters here on Monday, Bhagwant Mann said that the Badals had not yet received a clean chit, neither trial has been held, nor investigation has been completed. “Then what are the celebrations being going on? Have those who insulted the Guru and shot at the peaceful protesting sangat (Dyer and O’dwyer) been punished?” said Mann. He said that the 10th challan of former IG Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh’s SIT in which the names of former Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister (Parkash Singh Badal and Sukhbir Singh Badal) including other accused were listed; prior to its submission, the probe of the SIT was quashed under a premeditated conspiracy. “But this did not give a clean chit to the Badals,” he added.
Mann further said that the celebrations of the Badals and its party symbolises the fact that Sukhbir Badal had full confidence in his ‘uncle’ Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, that under the ‘Dubai Accord’, Captain Amarinder Singh would not let the Badal family harmed in any way. He said that Captain Amarinder Singh had failed miserably in getting justice in the Bargari and Behbal Kalan cases, while he had taken an oath holding Sri Gutka Sahib in his hands that within a week of the formation of the government, the culprits of sacrilege and firing cases will be put behind bars. Mann said that it was a ‘double sacrilege’ and in the court of the people, the Badals as well as Captain and the entire Congress will have to pay a heavy price for this heinous crime and betrayal in the upcoming assembly elections.
