Punjab Govt Transfers Three Senior IAS Officers in Major Administrative Reshuffle

In a notable administrative reshuffle, the Punjab government has transferred three senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, as per orders issued today by the Governor of Punjab. The reshuffle, effective immediately, aims to enhance governance and administrative efficiency across key departments.
Officers Transferred:
1. D. K. Tiwari, IAS (1994)
Previously holding the post of Additional Chief Secretary, Transport, Tiwari has been appointed Additional Chief Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs, replacing Dilraj Singh, IAS.
2. Kamal Kishor Yadav, IAS (2003)
Earlier marked as available for posting, Shri Yadav has now been posted as Administrative Secretary, Industries and Commerce. He will also take charge as Administrative Secretary, Investment Promotion and Promotion of Information Technology, taking over from Tejeevr Singh, IAS.
3. Varun Roojam, IAS (2004)
Formerly serving as Excise Commissioner, Punjab, and Taxation Commissioner, Punjab, Roojam will now serve as Administrative Secretary, Transport, replacing D. K. Tiwari. He will retain his additional existing roles.
Additional Continuities:
Dilraj Singh, IAS (2005) will continue as Secretary, Health & Family Welfare. He also retains charge as Commissioner, Food & Drug Administration, and Commissioner, Gurudwara Elections, Punjab.
Immediate Compliance Ordered:
All officers have been instructed to assume their new responsibilities without delay.
