Today early morning a joint excise raid of district Hoshiarpur and Gurdaspur conducted in compliance with able guidance and directions of worthy excise commissioner Punjab  Rajat Aggarwal  IAS and Deputy commissioner excise Jalandhar zone sh Shalin Walia Ji n Dasuya as well as village mojpur of district Gurdaspur

This raid was live supervised by AC x hsp As Kang and AC x Gurdaspur Pawanjit singh

All the excise inspectors and Eo excise of both district actively participated

During this raid

2lac kg lahan seized

400 bottles of illicit liquor recovered

5 working stills recovered

Boilers used for working stills along with other apparatus recovered by excise teams

Wide publicity n leading news papers and electronic media shared

Huge quantity of fire wood also seen used by smugglers n the mand area to distill illicit liquor which has been reported to forest department separately
