State Bank of India lodges FIR against two for loan default and misbehavior with Bank staff on duty.

 

Chandigarh – 21st November 2018: State Bank of India has filed an FIR on 09.11.2018 against Bhiwani based businessman Sh. Roshan lal Proprietor of M/s Auto Grip International and his wife over loan default and misbehavior with bank staff who had gone to their residence to ask them for repayment of the loan.

M/s Auto Grip International Prop. Sh. Roshan lal had taken a loan of Rs. 49.00 lakhs which has become NPA due to non-payment of dues despite sending repeated notices.

As per the FIR, when Smt. Sarika Talwar (AGM) and Sh. Devender Singh (Manager) visited the house of the borrower Sh. Roshan lal for recovery, on 09.11.2018, he allegedly locked the Bank officials inside the house and threatened and manhandled them. Somehow, Bank staff managed to escape from their custody and lodged an FIR against the accused borrower. Thereafter, the Bank took up the issue with the higher police authorities who have since arrested the accused Sh. Roshan Lal.

State Bank of India thanks Police Department and Government of Haryana for the prompt action taken by them against the culprits. Such actions instill confidence among the Government officials and law abiding citizens in discharge of their duties without any fear or favour.
