Diploma Engineers Association contributes one day salary to ‘Chief Minister Relief Fund’

Chandigarh, July 24:

          The members of Diploma Engineers Association of Punjab Water Supply and Sanitation Department have contributed their one day salary to the ‘Chief Minister Relief Fund’. The association has 600 members and their one day salary of around Rs.15 lakh would be used towards the flood relief efforts.

          The representatives of the association today called on Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann with Water Supply and Sanitation Minister Bram Shanker Jimpa and handed over the letter to the CM regarding deduction of one day’s salary of July month. The association consists of Junior Engineers, Assistant Engineers and Promoted Sub-Divisional Engineers.

          Besides Water Supply and Sanitation Minister Bram Shanker Jimpa, President Karamjit Singh Bihla, General Secretary Arvind Saini, Finance Secretary Kamarjit Singh Mann, Chairman Sukhminder Singh and Deepansh Gupta were present on this occasion.
