CHANDIGARH: The Digital Media Association today strongly condemned murderous attack on Amar Ujan reporter Alok Verma at Zirakpur.
Baljit Balli Chief Patron, Chairman Satinder Bains, President Devinderjit Singh Darshi and other members of the association demanded immediate arrest of the accused. The said that it was attack on freedom of the press and also expressed concern over rising attacks on media persons.
The association said that though FIR was lodged yesterday but no efforts are made to arrest the culprits. The association urged the Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to intervene and ensure arrest of the culprits.
Other members who joined to condemn the attack are Parmider Singh Jattpuri, Devinder Singh Kohli, H.S.Bawa, Mahavir Jain and Parshant Sharma.
