Smart Cities CEOs Conference on Data & Technology in Chandigarh

 

CEOs and other officials from 100 Smart Cities participating in the Conference

 

Chandigarh, April 24th, 2023::  Chandigarh Smart City Limited (CSCL) in coordination with Smart Cities Mission, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), Government of India is organizing a two day “Smart Cities CEOs Conference on Data and Technology” in Chandigarh. The conference which includes CEOs/Municipal Commissioners, Finance Heads and Tech Officers of 100 Smart Cities along with officials from the Central, State Government and partners, is being hosted by Chandigarh Smart City Limited and is scheduled for 27th & 28th April 2023.

 

During the conference, more than 250 delegates will deliberate on creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Business Plans to ensure sustainability of their Integrated Command and Control Centres (ICCCs). The objective of the conference is to enable peer learning and exchange of ideas, that leads to development of these best practices across all Smart Cities., said by Ms. AninditaMitra IAS, Chief Executive Officer, Chandigarh Smart City Limited.

 

The conference will commence with the context setting session by  Kunal Kumar IAS, Joint Secretary & Mission Director, Smart Cities Mission. Participants will get the opportunity to present and share the learnings on various topics like Use Case SOP Presentations by Cities, Moderated Discussion on Managing ICCC Operations, Smart Procure Presentation by Cities, IMAF Presentation by Cities and Business Plan Overview & Presentation by Cities.

 

The delegates will also be taken through the sessions on ICCC, the nerve centre for Chandigarh and Securing our ICCCs during the two days of conference. Smart Cities officials will get the opportunity to share their success stories. MoHUA is expected to announce the ICCC Awards to reward the most innovative and outstanding efforts of cities in creating maximum impact through their ICCCs.
