AAP gets a big boost in Anandpur Sahib : Garhshanker Municipal Council President and Others Join AAP

Big blow to Congress and Akali Dal, all leaders joined the AAP under the leadership of MLA Jai Kishan Singh Rouri

Chandigarh, April 8 The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab got a big boost in Anandpur Sahib Lok sabha constituency when Garhshanker Municipal Council President Trimbak Dutt Aerry along with many councilors joined the AAP.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann welcomed all the leaders who left Congress and Akali Dal to join the Aam Aadmi Party. Garhshanker MC president and MCs joined the AAP on Monday in the presence of Garhshankar MLA Jai Kishan Singh Rouri.

Trimbak Dutt Aerry (President Municipal council Garhshanker), Sarabjit Kaur (Block Samiti Chairman of Garhshanker) MC Parveen, Somnath Bangar, MC Deepak Kumar, MC Harpreet Singh, MC Sumit soni, MC Amrik singh S/o Shila devi, former MC Paramjit Singh, Zila parishad member Harmeshver singh, Block Simiti Chairman Kuldeep Kaur, Arti association President Saila Kamaljit Singh Rinka, Sarpanch Chak Singha Kuldeep Singh, Sarpanch Bilron Hem Raj, Sarpanch Ram pur Harmesh Lal, Ex Block samiti member Dr Kewal Ram, Sabzi Mandi President Mahilpur Balbir Singh Dhillon, Congress leader Ajmair Singh Dhillon, Mohit Saila and Ex MLA candidate JK Saila joined the AAP.

Later addressing a press conference Punjab VS deputy speaker and AAP MLA Jai Kishan Singh Rouri once again welcomed all the leaders to part and said that it is an important day for Garhshanker constituency. Many leaders are joining the Aam Aadmi Party today. Their arrival in the AAP is a reward of people’s welfare works and decisions that the Mann government has taken in the two years. He said that the Mann government of Punjab has fulfilled the election guarantees and the people are happy with the work of the AAP, so they are joining the party in large numbers.

He said that, in Garhshanker too, their party has done exceptional work. He said that the city got three new fire brigade vehicles, a bypass and the long pending sewerage work project worth Rs 14 crore was started. 90% of the households of the constituency Garhshankar are getting zero electricity bills and crores of rupees have been spent on the School of Eminence where our children get world class education. Impressed with all these development works of the AAP government these leaders have decided to join the AAP.

He once again welcomed all the leaders and said that the party will live up to their expectations. He added that all these leaders have decided to make the AAP candidate Malvinder Singh Kang win the Anandpur Sahib seat by a huge margin.
