Deputy Commissioner’s Office Employees’ Association call off the pen down strike

 

 

Rupnagar, July 26: Considering the flood situation and public interest in district Rupnagar, Deputy Commissioner Office Employees Association, Rupnagar has decided to call off the pen down strike . Now all the employees will return to work in their offices from Thursday.

 

Giving information regarding this, District President, Deputy Commissioner Office Employees Association, Rupnagar Mr. Jasveer Singh said that MLA Advocate Dinesh Chadha had conducted a surprise checking at the office of Tehsildar Rupnagar which hurt their dignity and respect.

 

He said that now, MLA Dinesh Chadha has assured the employees that he had no intention to hurt the dignity of the employees as well as he uploaded a video on social media regarding this issue.

 

Jasveer Singh said that now the association has agreed that keeping in mind the interests of the general public and flood situation in district Rupnagar, they have withdrawn their pen-down strike.

He said that now all the employees of Deputy Commissioner Office Employees Association, Rupnagar will perform duty at their offices from tomorrow morning.
