पंजाब विधानसभा चुनाव 2022: पंजाब में आदर्श चुनाव आचार संहिता लागू होने के बाद 448.10 करोड़ रूपए कीमत की संपत्ति ज़ब्त: मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी

चंडीगढ़, 15 फरवरी:
पंजाब विधानसभा चुनाव के मद्देनजऱ आदर्श चुनाव आचार संहिता लागू होने के बाद विभिन्न प्रवर्तन टीमों ने आदर्श चुनाव आचार संहिता लागू होने से 14 फरवरी, 2022 तक 448.10 करोड़ रुपए कीमत की संपत्ति ज़ब्त की है।
इस सम्बन्धी जानकारी देते हुए मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी, पंजाब डॉ. एस करुणा राजू ने आज बताया कि पंजाब आबकारी विभाग के निगरानी दलों ने 29.88 करोड़ रुपए की 49.58 लाख लीटर शराब ज़ब्त की है। इसी तरह, प्रवर्तन विंग ने 325.26 करोड़ रुपए के नशीले पदार्थ बरामद किए हैं और 29.88 करोड़ रुपए की बेनामी नकदी भी ज़ब्त की है।
मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी ने बताया कि 1,534 संवेदनशील क्षेत्रों को चिन्हित किया गया है। इसके अलावा 4,290 व्यक्तियों की पहचान अशांति फैलाने वाले संभावित स्रोतों के रूप में की गई है। उन्होंने कहा कि इन व्यक्तियों में से 3,771 व्यक्तियों के खिलाफ पहले ही कार्रवाई शुरु की जा चुकी है जबकि शेष व्यक्तियों को भी काबू कर लिया जाएगा। उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि सुरक्षा के नज़रिए से 2,494 व्यक्तियों को सी.आर.पी.सी. अधिनियम की निवारक धाराओं के अंतर्गत गिरफ़्तार किया गया है।
उन्होंने आगे बताया कि सभी 3,152 मामलों में ग़ैर-ज़मानती वॉरंट जारी किए जा चुके हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य भर में 27,507 नाके लगाए गए हैं।
डॉ. राजू ने बताया कि निर्वाचन आयोग की हिदायतों पर अमल करते हुए राज्य में अब तक कुल 3,90,170 लाइसेंसी हथियारों में से 3,79,612 हथियार जमा करवाए जा चुके हैं। जबकि राज्य में 128 बिना लाइसेंस के हथियार ज़ब्त किए गए हैं।

 CHANDIGARH, February 15:

After the Model Code of Conduct came into force in the state for Punjab Vidhan Sabha elections, various enforcement teams have seized valuables worth Rs 448.10 crores since the implementation of Election model code of conduct till February 14, 2022.

Giving details in this regard, Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Punjab Dr S Karuna Raju today said that the Punjab Excise surveillance teams have seized 49.58 lakh litres of liquor worth Rs 29.88 crore. Similarly, the enforcement wings have also recovered psychotropic substances amounting to Rs 325.26 crores besides confiscating unaccounted cash of Rs 30.42 crore, he added.

The Chief Electoral Officer revealed that as many as 1534 vulnerable hamlets have been identified. Besides this, 4290 persons have been identified as probable sources of trouble, he said adding that out of these persons preventive action had already been initiated against 3771 persons while the remaining would also be brought to book. He also informed that from a security point of view 2494 persons have been bound down under preventive sections of CrPC act.

He informed that all the 3152 cases of non-bailable warrants have been executed. As many as 27507 nakas are operational across the State, he added.

            While implementing the directions of the election commission, Dr Raju said that of total 3,90,170 licensed weapons in the state 3,79,612 weapons have been deposited till date. Whereas, 128 without licenses weapons were seized in the state.
