Cabinet Minister Sunder Sham Arora should be suspended till the Lokpal’s inquiry is not finished.
Lokpal Justice ( Retired) Vinod kumar Sharma issues notice to Arora and board of directors of PSIEC on BJP’s complaint.
Chandigarh: 13 August : The Lokpal has issued a notice today on complaint of the BJP to cabinet Minister Sunder Sham Arora in a land scam in Mohali. Said Mr Ashwani Sharma state party President here today.
The notice was issued in a case pertaining to 31 acres of land worth 450 crores being literally pawned off for 90.56 crores said Mr Sharma.
Regretting that the list of scams indulged by the congress ministers is so long that an gold medal can be awarded to “ Captain Amarinder Singh” for leading a team of ministers starting with Rana Sodhi for taking a compensation for land aquisation twice. Mr Dharmsot for swindling crores from the Scholarship funds meant for schedule caste and schedule tribe students. The irony is that the chief minister is the first to give a “ clean chit” to his ministers . Amarinder Singh himself has been accused for irregularities in the ludhiana city centre case. said Sharma.
It is unfortunate that corruption has reached a level where all norms of even following procedure were curtailed in the recent scam in Mohali. The Minister Mr Arora is a close associate of the company GRG which has bought the 31 acres of land. We demand that keeping “ dharma politics “ in mind Arora should resign and if he does not then the chief minister Amarinder Singh should suspend him with immediate effect till the inquiry of the Lokpal is not finished. Said BJP state President.
