Jalandhar, March 26 Setting a new benchmark in Policing with humanitarian approach, the Jalandhar Commissionerate Police led by Commissioner of Police Gurpreet Singh Bhullar today served the food to needy people at Khulra Khingra. Led by Commissioner of Police the officers of the Police served food to the people. They said that besides maintaining law and order in the district the Jalandhar Commissionerate Police was also sensitive in ensuring the well being of people. They said that no stone would be left unturned for ensuring that public, especially the needy, was felicitated in this hour of crisis.
The Commissioner of Police said that besides implementing the curfew in right earnest, the Commissionerate Police was also committed to ensure that no one was starved off the food. He said that for this purpose, the Commissionerate Police has organised this facility for the people. Mr. Bhullar said that this would be continued in the coming days also and wherever needed food would be ensured to the needy people. The Commissioner of Police also said that this was in line with the glorious legacy of the Punjab Police to serve the people with full passion and zeal. He said that the Commissionerate Police was fully geared up and equipped to meet any sort of challenge whether of law and order or for fulfilling the basic requirements of the general public. Bhullar said that besides enforcing the law every effort would be made to bail out people in this hour of crisis. On the occasion Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Balkar Singh, Assistant Commissioner of Police Dharama Pal and others were also present.
