IN JALANDHAR DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION OPENS 40 MORE PETROL PUMPS ON NATIONAL HIGHWAY AND ADJOINING AREAS IN THE DISTRICT AMIDST CURFEW

MOVE AIMED AT ENSURING UNINTERRUPTED FUEL SUPPLY FOR THE EMERGENCY VEHICLES

In order to facilitate the uninterrupted fuel supply for the emergency vehicles during the ongoing curfew the district administration has opened 40 more petrol pumps on the national highway and adjoining areas, in the district so that people do not face any sort of problem.
Divulging the details, the Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Mr. Varinder Kumar Sharma said that the Food and Civil Supplies department has decided to open these outlets to fulfil the emergency requirements.
He said that during the curfew, Deepak Filling Station (Opposite Nakodar SDM Office), Sekhri Power Point (Kartarpur), Deewan Oil Point (Malsian road), Night Fuel Junction Pump (Nurmahal Road, Nakodar), Kewal Krishan Pawan Kumar (Opposite Nakodar Police Station), Gill Indian Petrol Pump (Uggi Nakodar), Satnam Petrol Pump (Tut Kalan, Kapurthala road, Nakodar), MR Filling Station (Sarih, Jandiala Road), Roshan Singh and Sons (Opposite TV Centre Nakodar Chowk), Bhagwati Petroleum (Ladowali Road), Moon Filling Station (Kapurthala road), Inderjit Highway (Kang Sabu), Khalsa Petroleum (Jandu Singha), Oil Man auto Aid (Pathankot road), Puri Filling station (Moga Road Shahkot), Padda HP Filling Station (Rurewal Adda), Chaudhary Filling Station (Bidhipur), Jiwan Petroleum (Opposite IOC Terminal), Sanpreet Petro Plaza (Near Verka Milk Plant), Fuel Force (Pathankot road Ballan), Karari Fuels (Kishangarh), Kanshi Ram Sant Ram (Patel Chowk), Amrit Service Station (Garha), Mohal Oil Point (Wadala Chowk), Rakha Filling Station (Suranassi), Bawa and Company (Maqsudan), Col Kulwant Singh Filling Station (Deep Nagar), Paul Filling Station (Pathankot Chowk), Sunrise Filling Station (Urban Estate), Phillaur Filling Station (Phillaur), Pamma Filling Station (Phillaur), Missar Filling Station (Nurmahal Nakodar Road), Kainth Filling Station (Goraya), Goodwill Petro Mart (Ganna Pind), Preet Basant (Khaira Pind), Rama Fuel (GT Road), RK Filling Station (Nurmahal), Chanan Filling Station (Gidderpindi), DM Filling Station (Kala Sangha) and Reliable Petro (Green Park Road).
Pertinently it may be recalled that for the convenience of the people, 29 filling stations were already opened in the city on March 24.
The Deputy Commissioner said that these petrol pumps have been started to facilitate the plying of emergency vehicles in the district. He said that the remaining petrol pumps would remain close till the further orders. Mr. Sharma said that no stone would be left unturned for combating the Corona Virus in an effective manner. He said that District Food and Supply Controller Mr. Narinder Singh was regularly monitoring the situation.
