Chandigarh, April 22 In an IPL match in Maharaja Yadavindra Singh Cricket Stadium, on Sunday, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supporters raised slogans of ‘Mai bhi Kejriwal’ and ‘Jail ka Jawab vote se’ to protest against the arrest of the AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal. The AAP supporters demanded the release of Arvind Kejriwal, stating that authorities had wrongfully arrested and detained him without any evidence of any scam.

Jail ka jawab vote se – now a voice in favour of Arvind Kejriwal from an IPL match
The protestors donned yellow t-shirts featuring Arvind Kejriwal’s picture, depicting him behind bars, and shouted slogans like ‘Mai bhi Kejriwal’ and ‘Jail ka Jawab vote se’. Some crowd members also supported and joined them. It was a unique campaign by the AAP supporters in favour of Arvind Kejriwal and they definitely caught the eye of the spectators of widely loved IPL.
Young children also joined the protest wearing yellow t-shirts to register their object against those who are threatening the democracy in our country. Arvind Kejriwal is getting support nationally and internationally against his arrest and now new voices are joining from every corner of the country asking for his release.
