Chandigarh, March 28: Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Wednesday administered the oath of office and secrecy to newly appointed Chairman of reconstituted Punjab Subordinate Services Selection (PSSS) Board Raman Bahl in his chamber at Punjab Vidhan Sabha.
Chief Secretary Karan Avtar Singh conducted the proceedings of the swearing-in-ceremony of Raman Bahl.
Prominent amongst others who were present on the occasion were Speaker Punjab Vidhan Sabha Rana KP Singh, Secretary Personnel A.S. Miglani, former Rajya Sabha Member H. S. Hanspal, besides family members, friends and relatives of Raman Bahl.
The notification for Raman Bahl’s appointment was issued by the Personnel department last week.
It may be recalled that the post of PSSS chairman fell vacant after the abolition of the 11–member Subordinate Services Selection Board in February this year.
