Minister Thakur Unveils Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Una

Drone Didi Takes Flight: Una Witnesses Transformative Agriculture

Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Anurag Singh Thakur, inaugurated Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) vans as part of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra campaign in Una district, today. The launch, held at the Zila Parishad Bhawan, marks a significant step towards regional development and public awareness.

The event coincided with the nationwide launch of the ‘Drone Didi’ Yojana, a scheme aimed at providing drone operating skills to women of self-help groups. These skills will transform the delivery of pesticides and urea in agricultural fields through the use of drones. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his address, emphasized the importance of developing the country and transforming the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra into a people’s movement to ensure the success of all schemes for the welfare of the poor.

Additionally, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the 10,000th Jan Aushadhi Kendra in Deoghar, Jharkhand, during the event. He interacted with beneficiaries of various schemes, congratulating them and urging them to raise awareness about Jan Aushadhi Kendras and generic medicines, emphasizing their significant contribution to healthcare.

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra campaign aims to promote progress and enlightenment, aligning with the vision of a self-reliant and empowered India. Minister Anurag Singh Thakur addressed the citizens of Una, highlighting transformative initiatives for the holistic development of the district.

The IEC vans deployed during this launch will serve as mobile units for disseminating crucial information, education, and communication materials. This strategic approach ensures the outreach of developmental programs and awareness campaigns to every corner of Una district.

Minister Anurag Singh Thakur expressed confidence in the transformative impact of the Drone Didi Scheme on the women of Himachal Pradesh and the entire country, anticipating it to impart entrepreneurial skills and financial strength.

Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar emphasized India’s evolving role, transforming from a country seeking support to one extending support to others, reinforcing the nation’s commitment to self-reliance and positive global contributions.
