#AAP pensioner’s wing alleges SAD-BJP government of ignoring demands of pensioners and employees

Aam Aadmi Party Pensioner’s wing chief Jagdev Singh Garcha on Thursdayalleged SAD-BJP government of ignoring the genuine demands of employees and pensioners of state. He said that 3.5 Lakhs pensioners and 4.25 Lakhs government employees had to suffer because of the anti-employee policies of Badal government.

In a press statement, Garcha said that the central government had implemented revised scales from 01-01-2016 but Punjab government denied to do so. He said that despite of appointing chairman of pay commission the commission is still unable to start its work of implementation.

Garcha said that Punjab government promised to release 10% D.A of 01-01-2014 to 30-09-2014 period of time in January but no initiative has been made in this regard yet. He said that the employees were not even given raised D.A. of 25 months.

AAP leader said that AAP Convener Arvind Kejriwal is committed to draft policies for the pensioners and employees and after the formation of AAP government in Punjab the relief will be provided to the pensioners and employees. He said that AAP government will implement the revised pay scale within 2 months of government formation.
