In a recent patrol operation conducted in Sector-31, the vigilant police team, under the watchful supervision of SHO Ram Ratn Sharma, successfully apprehended a bootlegger involved in the illicit sale of liquor, thereby effectively curbing an illegal activity that poses a threat to public safety. The commendable efforts of Inspector Sharma and his team were instrumental in seizing the contraband, ensuring that the law and order situation in the area remained intact.

It’s worth highlighting that this is not the first occasion where Inspector Sharma has demonstrated exemplary dedication to his duty. In the most recent case (FIR Number 1, Time-12:02), the Sector-31 police station registered an FIR for illegal bootlegging, leading to the arrest of Suraj Kumar Jindal, a resident of Ramdarbar, Phase-1, from Industrial Area Phase-2. He was found in possession of 12 bottles of illicit liquor, resulting in charges under the Excise Act 61-1-14. The police released him on bail after due legal proceedings.
