PCS Retired officers contributes for the flood affected people of the state

 

Chandigarh, July 16:

The Punjab PCS Retired Officers Association has decided to contribute for the flood affected people of the state.

Giving this information, a spokesperson of the association said here today that this decision has been taken in a meeting under the chairmanship of  G.S. Bahia. It has been unanimously decided to contribute for flash flood relief arrangements being made by the state government/district administration SAS Nagar.

According to the spokesperson, 500 steel thalies and 500 glasses worth Rs. 57000 were sent to the Deputy Commissioner’s Office Mohali for distribution to the needy. Along with this, 220 cases of water worth Rs. 20,000 have also been sent for the distribution to the needy people.

Apart from this, ORS and Zn tablets worth of Rs. 20,000 each sent to SDM Derabassi and SDM Kharar offices as Flood relief goods.
