Supervisors to be selected from amidst Anganwari workers, objections invited till Jan 11

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Minister of Social Security, Women and Child Development Dr. Baljit Kaur the department is providing suitable employment opportunities to youth of the state and has put in completely transparent criteria in job selection process.

 

For selecting supervisor from amidst the Anganwari workers, the government has invited objections till Jan 11. Dr Baljit Kaur added that the District Program Officers of Punjab have been asked to invite objections regarding temporary merit lists for selection of supervisors from Anganwadi workers till 11th January 2023 by 04:00 PM.

Applicants can directly submit their objections along with proofs manually to the Director, Social Security, Women and Child Development Department.

 

Dr Baljit Kaur giving further information said that the temporary merit lists received from all the District Program Officers of Punjab for the selection of supervisors from among the Anganwadi workers working under ICDS projects have been compiled at the head office level and uploaded on the website of the department www.sswcd.punjab.gov.in.

 

Cabinet Minister has instructed all District Program Officers to download temporary merit lists and put it on notice board in their offices and the offices of concerned Child Development Project Officers. Anganwadi workers should be informed about temporary merit lists and all CDPOs have been instructed to ensure the same.

The objections raised by the applicant and the serial number of category, sub-category of state level temporary merit list issued by the head office should be marked. The applicant is directed to obtain diary number after registering his or her objection in objection register of the head office. Objections received after date fixed by the department will not be considered. This merit list has been issued only on a temporary basis to hear the objections on the merit lists sent by District Program Officers based on the information given by the applicants to the concerned Child Development Project Officers. It shall not be considered final, she said.

 

She said that the main purpose of releasing this list is that if there is any mistake in the temporary merit list then it can be corrected.
