Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains approves list of 80 teachers to be honoured on Teachers’ Day 2023

School Education Minister congratulates the teachers selected for Teacher’s State Award/ Young Teacher/ Administrative Award/ Special Award 2023

Chandigarh, September 4:

          The Punjab School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains on Monday approved the list of 80 teachers to be honoured in four categories by the Punjab Government on the occasion of Teachers’ Day 2023.

          According to the list approved by the School Education Minister, the Teachers’ State Award will be given to 54 teachers while the Young Teacher Award to be given to 11 teachers. Apart from this, 10 teachers will also be given administrative awards and 5 teachers will also be facilitated with special honors.

          Punjab School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains congratulated all the teachers selected for the award by the state government on the occasion of National Teachers’ Day and hoped that the teachers who received the award would become a beacon of light for other teachers.

          Mr. Bains said that the Punjab Government is organizing a state-level function on Teachers’ Day at Moga. The Chief Minister, Punjab, Mr. Bhagwant Singh Mann will be the Chief Guest at the event.

          The Education Minister said that this time the selection for the award was done by the district level committee and the jury at the state level with a transparent manners to select the hardworking and deserving candidates.
